CAROL is the integrated multimedia contact center and communication management solution of CAROL-ICT Ltd. Initially it has been specially developed by Siemens Enterprise Communications’ software house for the Central and Eastern European market needs and has been adopted successfully for the Chinese and Korean market as well. Customers (among others well-known companies and government institutes) are satisfied with the solution.
Since 2007 the development and product management is located in Hungary. In 2008 we harmonized the product strategy with the global financial and market situation which resulted in a costs reduction and ensured a stable fund for the long term.
In October 2009 CAROL (the product and the complete development team) has been taken over by the privately held multinational company Lyland Business Services and later - after a successful Management Buyout - by CAROL-ICT. The development became dynamic again, after a couple of minor releases and „MMX Edition” we are working currently on the new main release v3.0.
